WHY "CLEARVENTURE"?
ClearVenture Legal was initially founded in April 2017 by Matt Bradshaw. ClearVenture aims to help its clients simplify their business transactions and assist in charting a clear path to future success. Matt founded ClearVenture in a belief that the traditional law firm model is, in many ways, broken. Due to the cost-structure and historical staffing models employed, most small and mid-sized companies are unable to obtain sophisticated legal services at a reasonable price and in a timely manner. Responses are delayed and communication rare. At ClearVenture, we pride ourselves on being partners with our clients and advocating in every step of the transactional process.
MATT'S BACKGROUND
Matt grew up in a family business, working alongside his parents and siblings on their family farm/ranch in SE Idaho. Matt graduated with a bachelor's degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in 2009. Matt then attended William and Mary School of Law in Williamsburg, Virginia, graduating with distinction (cum laude) in 2013. Matt is licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho.
Matt is also the proud founder and owner of a number of successful business ventures. As a business owner and entrepreneur himself, he understands the need to see the big picture and develop practical, common sense solutions that help drive revenue and achieve the long term goals of his clients. Matt understands balancing legal risk with achieving strategic business objectives.
Matt's legal experience includes working in private practice at the largest Mountain West based law firm, Holland & Hart LLP, and the largest Idaho-based law firm, Hawley Troxell LLP. In recent years, he has also served as the Chief Legal Officer of Valley Veterinary Care, a multi-state veterinary consolidation company and Destination Pet, LLC, a nationwide PE-backed pet care/vet care consolidation company.

REPRESENTATIVE REPRESENTATION:
- Served as in-house counsel for various nationwide mid-sized companies experiencing rapid rates of growth and attending to all legal, risk, human resource and infrastructure related activities from start-up to exit.
- Assist with merger and acquisition transactions in the healthcare, veterinary, pet care, agriculture, technology and other industries. As of August 2022, completing more than 250 M&A transactions ranging in size from $300k to $400m in size on both buyer and seller-side representation. Total transaction value in excess of $3.0 Billion.
- Assist with various financing and real estate purchase and sale transaction ranging in size from $250k - $40m in size. Total transaction value in excess in $1.5 Billion
- Counsel national and local banking institutions and private capital groups on matters relating to real estate and corporate financing transactions on matters relating to legal structure, leasing and property management, environmental, title, public records, insurance and transfer documentation.
